How to Manage Access in Smartrent Manager

Viewing Credentials

  1. Navigate to the resident's profile in SmartRent manager.

  2. Locate the "Credentials" section on the right side of the screen.

  3. Here you can view all active credentials for the resident, including:

    1. Credential type (e.g., Mobile, PIN Code)

    2. Provider (e.g., Alloy Access)

Deleting a Credential

To remove a PIN code from Alloy Access:

  1. Find the credential you want to delete in the "Credentials" list.

  2. Look for the red trash can icon next to the credential.

  3. Click on the red trash can icon.

  4. Confirm the deletion if prompted.

This action will remove the PIN code from Alloy Access, revoking the resident's access through that particular credential.

Adding a PIN Code

To add a new PIN code for a resident:

  1. Click on the "Add Credential" button.

  2. A new window or section will appear for adding credentials.

  3. Select "PIN Code" as the credential type if prompted.

  4. Click on the "GENERATE PIN CODE" button.

  5. The system will automatically generate a new PIN code for the resident.
