Adding Controllers

Mercury Controllers

Under the Controller Section, select your Mercury controller model from the Add Controller menu. Check our hardware section for setup guides and a list of compatible controllers. Then enter the specific fields on the new controller form.

Note: Name controllers based on their panel location, such as 'Cellar', 'IDF Room B', or 'Telecom Room near 3210'

Setting up the Connection String:

  1. For a Static IP Address: Enter the static IP address in the Connection String field, followed by a colon and the port number, like this: 192.168.1.251:3001.

  2. For DHCP: Enter the hostname in the Connection String field, followed by a colon and the port number, for example, Hostname.DomainName:3001.

Selecting the Hub: From the Hub dropdown, choose the Cloud Bridge's serial number.

Can't see cloud bridges in the dropdown? Check our guide on adding one.

Selecting the Model: From the Model dropdown, pick the controller model and then click the 'Save' button at the bottom right. After saving, you'll be directed to the Controller section. Here, you can add or remove readers, adjust reader settings, add new SIO expansion panels (like the MR52), and modify inputs and outputs.

AAC-2001

Similar to adding a Mercury controller, under the Controller Section, select your AAC-2001 controller model from the Add Controller menu.

Note: Name controllers based on their panel location, such as 'Cellar', 'IDF Room B', or 'Telecom Room near 3210'

Next enter the AAC-2001 serial number (barcode sticker located on the device) in the Serial field with the prefix of AAC (e.g., AACXXXXXXXX). Then click the Save button.

For help with the AAC-2001 or installation steps, see our hardware guide here.

Deleting Controllers

In order to delete a controller:

  1. On the controllers page click the Garbage Can icon on the row of the controller you would like to delete.

  2. Select Delete from the popup seen below:

Controllers need to be online to delete all credentials and revoke access permissions. If a controller is offline, it will continue to operate but won't delete credentials or revoke permissions until it is back online.
