Import Members
Save time by importing members to your Alloy Access site
To easily import members from another access control system directly into Alloy Access, go to the Import/Export page, found on the left navigation column
Under the Import/Export page, click on the New Import button to reveal the Choose File button

Select a CSV file with the following headers in this specific order:
Access_Level, - single input, the name of the Access Level they should be added to
Card_number, optional, the reference ID of the card/fob. The card must be in the bank
Department,
Email,
Facility_code,
First_name *, - required
Last_name *, - required
Phone number,
Pin_code, 6 digit PIN code assigned to the member
Remote_id, - required, must be unique
Title,
Valid_from, - iso 8601 datetime - leave blank for permanent code types, applies to both cards and pins
Valid_to - iso 8601 datetime - same as above
If there is a member with multiple card/fob credentials or access levels, they can appear on the CSV multiple times and the system will merge them together.
Ensure you use the correct field formats listed above. Using the wrong format can prevent a successful import.
Go to the Import/Export page
Under the Import/Export page, click on the New Import button to reveal the Browse button
Select Browse and navigate to the folder location of the CSV file containing the credentials to be uploaded
Choose Open and click on upload to complete the process

Use this template to easily import data for Alloy Access members. Make sure to follow the specific format requirements for each field.
