Import Members

Save time by importing members to your Alloy Access site

  1. To easily import members from another access control system directly into Alloy Access, go to the Import/Export page, found on the left navigation column

  2. Under the Import/Export page, click on the New Import button to reveal the Choose File button

Upload File for Imports
  1. Select a CSV file with the following headers in this specific order:

    1. Access_Level, - single input, the name of the Access Level they should be added to

    2. Card_number, optional, the reference ID of the card/fob. The card must be in the bank

    3. Department,

    4. Email,

    5. Facility_code,

    6. First_name *, - required

    7. Last_name *, - required

    8. Phone number,

    9. Pin_code, 6 digit PIN code assigned to the member

    10. Remote_id, - required, must be unique

    11. Title,

    12. Valid_from, - iso 8601 datetime - leave blank for permanent code types, applies to both cards and pins

    13. Valid_to - iso 8601 datetime - same as above

    14. If there is a member with multiple card/fob credentials or access levels, they can appear on the CSV multiple times and the system will merge them together.

  1. Go to the Import/Export page

  2. Under the Import/Export page, click on the New Import button to reveal the Browse button

  3. Select Browse and navigate to the folder location of the CSV file containing the credentials to be uploaded

  4. Choose Open and click on upload to complete the process

Use this template to easily import data for Alloy Access members. Make sure to follow the specific format requirements for each field.
