AAB-200

Alloy Access Cloud Bridge

Hardware Overview

The AAB-200 is an updated cloud bridge to the Alloy Access hardware portfolio. It is designed to bridge the gap between HID Mercury controllers and the cloud, while also introducing network isolation for all of the Mercury controllers downstream on the network. This allows for flexibility when dealing with various site networks that may change over time by retaining access to the cloud through DHCP on the site's network, while maintaining a consistent VLAN downstream for the controllers. There is also the added benefit of the option for LTE and network fallback in the situation where there might be a network failure or install location that makes it difficult for a direct Ethernet line connection.
